Backdrop: You and Bucky live in the same apartment complex but haven’t spoken more than a few words. One night, Bucky decides to change that.
Pairing: James ‘Bucky’ Barnes x fem!reader.
Warnings: mentions of bucky’s ptsd and my subpar writing.
A’s notes: this is just based on the scene pictured above from the first episode of fatws. excuse spelling and any other mistakes throughout this one-shot. this has been sitting in my drafts for ages.

James kept to himself whenever he came into the bar you worked at. The two of you always exchanged kind glances at each other. They were no different than the ones you shared in the hallway of the apartment building you both lived in. He was a man of few words and after he came in a few times, you knew his drink order. He had a select variety which would indicate the type of day he’s had or his mood. You never asked about his life and you two only ever said a few sentences to each other. He wanted to talk to you, he truly did but his words always got stuck in his throat. You were so pretty and innocent; he didn’t want to taint that with his overly-complicated existence.
Y/n's morning was filled with many callers, her plan had worked.
Among the many callers, Anthony Bridgerton was there. Y/n was only slightly surprised, he must just be keeping up appearances. She graciously accepted the flowers from each caller, while her mama stood off to the side. Y/n knew her dear mama must have been giddy on the inside.
Finally, it was time for Anthony to have time with Y/n, he gave her a wicked smile, then bowed to her. Y/n curtsied, noting his expression, she sat down on the sofa with him. Anthony sat so close to her that their knees touched. In polite society, especially if they were in public, that would be the start of a scandal. Anthony was the first to speak, "How are you this beautiful morning?"

synposis: the time for you to meet the Hard Deck, and the Daggers frequenting it, has finally come. but some digs on the oldest aviator of the bunch in front of his younger partner leave a tension between you that begs to be broken.
warnings: age gap (unspecified but in my mind was about 10 years), assumed alcohol consumption, allusions to anxiety, use of the pet name "bunny", jake is an instigator
a/n: this was NOT going to be this long in my head but once i got writing i could not stop.. enjoy some more self-indulgent comfort angst from me!

Hi Jade! I’ve been on my criminal minds rerun and it made me come up with this Spencer request if you’re taking them right now! Something along the lines of the reader and Spencer being together and she becomes pregnant but he pieces it together before she does!
luveline answered:
tysm for requesting! hope this is ok♡ 1k
cw fem!reader has a positive attitude towards her pregnancy. vaguely adult theme
“I really don’t think I can go,” you say, flopping down on the bed.
Spencer laughs and shakes out the shirt in his hands, hoping the creases from the dryer will iron themselves before dinner tonight. “You always say that.”
“I really mean it this time. I miss Hotch, I do, and I’m glad he’s out of WITSEC, but thinking about the restaurant is making me queasy."
"Really? I looked it up, it’s a nice place. They have their Grade A, it should be spotless in there. I’m pretty sure they almost got a Michelin star."
You groan, turning onto your side. "I looked too. The entire menu is seafood,” you whine.
“What’s wrong with that?” Spencer asks, giving you a quizzical look.
“The smell.” You rub your nose against his pillow and sigh. “I don’t feel good. Didn’t rough me up in my sleep, did you?"
"I would never do that,” he says, putting the last of the laundry aside to sit by your hip. His hand rests naturally against the slight curve of your side, fingertips pushing the hem of your shirt up enough to steal a glance at your back.
He wouldn’t say this aloud and it doesn’t matter, but you’ve gained a little weight recently. Actually, it does matter in that he thinks it’s adorable, but he knows that telling your partner they’ve gained weight is a faux pas. He likes it, anyhow. It’s happy weight.
Things are so serious now but they don’t feel serious. There’s no solemness in your relationship, just comfort. He’s putting on weight in tandem.
“You really don’t want to go?” Spencer asks. The earlier he lets Hotch know the better.
